MockForge AI (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates mockforgeai.com (the “Service”), an AI-powered mock interview practice platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

We collect the following information when you sign in with Google OAuth:

• →Email address — used to identify your account and send transactional communications
• →Full name — displayed in your profile and on your interview reports
• →Google account ID — used to link your Google identity to your MockForge account
• →Profile picture URL — displayed as your avatar in the interface

We also collect data generated during your use of the Service:

• →Interview session data — questions attempted, phases completed, duration
• →AI-generated evaluation reports — scores, hiring decisions, strengths, and improvement areas
• →Voice transcripts — the conversation between you and the AI interviewer during a session
• →Code and design submissions — any code written or diagrams drawn during an interview
• →Exit feedback — optional feedback you provide when ending a session early
• →Payment information — processed by Razorpay; we store only the payment ID and amount paid

We do not collect passwords, precise location data, device fingerprints, or any sensitive personal information beyond what is listed above.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Your data is stored on servers located in Singapore (Hetzner Cloud). We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS), environment-isolated credentials, and access controls.

Interview session data is retained as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• →Google OAuth — for authentication. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• →Anthropic Claude — AI model powering the interview and evaluation. Your interview content is sent to Anthropic's API for processing.
• →Deepgram — for speech-to-text and text-to-speech during voice interviews. Audio is processed in real time and not stored by us beyond the session.
• →Razorpay — for payment processing. We do not store your card or banking details.
• →Hetzner Cloud — infrastructure and hosting provider.

We use browser session cookies strictly for authentication (managed by NextAuth.js). We also use browser localStorage to temporarily persist your in-progress interview work (code editor state, whiteboard drawings) for up to 4 hours. This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

As a user, you have the right to:

• →Request correction of inaccurate data
• →Request deletion of your account and associated data
• →Withdraw consent at any time by discontinuing use of the Service
